Honoring Femme Creatives + Mothers at WE OWN THIS! 2022
On March 31, 2022 BCAN teamed up with our friends at Adorn Vintage Furniture and curator Diamon Fisher to celebrate, honor, and spread love to creative mamas and femme founders owning their roles as parents, creators, entrepreneurs, and community leaders.
The evening kicked off with a popup marketplace featuring local mom-owned creative brands: The Imperfect Mom Tribe, Everything Fire, Ss.SylverLight, Le Monade, Adorn Vintage Furniture, Bouquette Beauty along with bites The Empanada Lady and sweets from Bramble Baking Co.
Singer Omnia Azar took the stage with Mr 14th and elevated the vibe, opening up the space for impactful dialogue led by BCAN Entrepreneurship + Innovation Director and We Own This! creator, Sharayna Ashanti Christmas. The panel featured Sharayna in conversation with curator Diamon Fisher and The Bloom Collective leaders Stéphanie Etienne and Tanay Lynn Harris.
